HOW TO MAKE THE WORLD

HOW TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE

is something that many people want to do, but may not know how to get started. It is a daunting task, but the truth is that small and simple changes can make a big impact.

The first step: Set a goal

The first step is to think about what you would like to achieve in your life. Then write that goal down on paper. This will help you focus your energy on what matters most in your life, and inspire you to work towards that goal.

Helping others

One of the most effective ways to make the world a better place is by helping others. This can be in a variety of ways, including donating money to charities or volunteering your time.

Reduce waste and pollution

Another way to make the world a better place is to reduce your waste and pollution. This can be done by limiting the amount of garbage that you throw away, and by choosing to reuse or recycle whenever possible. This is not only good for the environment, but it also helps to reduce your own carbon footprint, which will save you money in the long run!

Buy local

Buying less and using more locally produced goods is another great way to make the world a better place. This is a great way to support local businesses and will help reduce global environmental problems, such as pollution and overfishing.

Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, and can be an excellent way to improve your own mental health by spending time with people who need your help. If you are looking to make the world a better place, consider giving your time to volunteer at an animal shelter, soup kitchen, or other charitable organization. You can help them out by bringing food, cleaning, or by giving them a listening ear. Doing these things is also a great way to spend your free time, and you will feel rewarded at the end of the day by knowing that you helped someone else.

Kindness matters

Treating other people with kindness is a great way to make the world a better and more beautiful place. This can be as simple as saying hello to a homeless person, or as serious as donating your time and skills to a charity. This is a great way to make the world better because you can actually see your impact. You can show other people what a difference you make, and it will inspire them to be more compassionate as well.

Making the world a better place

A beautiful world starts with YOU and I. How we are able to spread love to everyone around us, show kind gestures to one another, and make sure to promote empathy. Staying connected to a loved one or a neighbor who just moved in next door illustrates how kind you can be, staying connected strengthens relationships both far and near. Lending a helping hand to the needy. Offering a helping hand to that neighbor whom you do not find attractive isn’t a bad idea, yes it isn’t at all.

Did you know compliments can make someone’s day? I’m sure many of us have had such experience before. Now let me share a little story with you. There’s this dress my sister got for me years back, it’s a simple yet beautiful floral dress and the funny thing is it never gets old, each time I step out in that dress I always have compliments from people even from persons who had complimented it the last time I wore it. Do you know what? I end up staring at my dress smiling till it’s time to retire to my bed, funny right? That’s how it should be, you make someone delighted even without knowing you did, that’s just you being kind with just a compliment making someone feel good about themselves.

Acts of kindness have a profound impact on not only our mental health but on our physical health as well

Advocating environmental sustainability is another important key factor in making the world a better place. What is the world without healthy people in it… There are simple things we could do to keep a healthier environment; follow the 3 rules ( Reduce, reuse and recycle) to conserve natural resources and landfill space, volunteering for cleanups in your community, this is something I don’t fail to do as an individual because it’s also in my best interest, I can’t stay in an unhealthy environment so I try as much as possible to lend a helping hand to make our environment clean. Educating others on healthy behaviors is also a task, some persons are unaware of the essence of cleanliness, this in return will make our world cleaner and better.

Protecting our planet

In an ever-evolving world, social justice stands as a vital pillar of our society. It serves as a powerful catalyst for change ensuring that fairness, equality and opportunity are accessible to all. Social justice strives to eliminate discrimination, oppression and systematic inequalities based on factors such as race, gender, socio-economic status and disability. Therefore, if we unite and advocate for social justice, we work towards building a society that values equality and inclusion for all.

Creating awareness and mobilizing change.

Speaking up for what you believe in is a great start to help create positive change in the world. Whether it is through peaceful contest, writing to your elected officials, or simply having a conversation with someone who has a different belief from you, all put together is a great move to achieving a better world. One person’s actions really can change the world for good.

In our daily lives, let’s try to make positive choices as much as possible, try to build healthy and supportive relationships, build a community of people who support your values. I’m sincerely trying my best in my own way to see I have positive relationship with people I know and do not know, it’s easier to connect when you are open-minded. Learn to be self-disciplined and be ready to take full responsibility for yourself, this is one of the unique qualities I learnt from my Dad before he passed on, he was hellbent on this particular quality and I must say it really works if you take it seriously. Being open to learning and creating new things is a sure way of moving forward. Lastly, spread love both far and near.
